REVIEWS
I thought the actual class was very good. Regarding the arrangements, there was some confusion over the venue which left us running between the library on Headrow and the Leeds Library on Commercial Street. In the end we ended up doing the workshop in Starbucks. Despite this the facilitator was unfazed.

Title or Location: Robin Hoods Bay in ink.
I like to experiment with different mediums. This is calligraphy ink on wood, I love the fluidity of ink and the way it can be layered. I also used some bleach to lift some of the ink , the results are unpredictable and I love that. This is Robin Hoods Bay, a place I've always found beautiful and inspiring.

Title or Location: Ashford in the water Peak District- image taken of a drawing
This cottage is situated in Ashford in the Water, in the Peak District. I wanted to capture this beautiful cottage just after the rain, with its reflections on the roof and footpath. A gorgeous cottage garden was drawn using graphite soft pencils on rough watercolour paper.

Title or Location: Scan of my artwork
This is the latest creation in my "Big 'Ed" series of pictures, it is a drawing of Leeds United's Gary Kelly, who played in the 90s/00s for the club. I started creating these in 2011 when a piece of art I was creating was taking months to complete. These creations were a way of having the feeling of satisfaction you get when you finish a piece of art.Since 2011 I have created over 300 "Big 'Eds", many are of famous people from the rock music and film/TV world. But since lockdown many of them (

The owner told me that she wanted something fun, relaxing, and beautiful to adorn her shed. She pointed out the she especially hated the electric meter. About 1/2 way across painting on the shed, she came out with ice tea and asked if I could also include the Blue Ridge Mountains. So, I made the building end (made a corner) and then added some blue ridge mountains off in the background. Finished product has feelings of Greece with Blue Ridge mountains, making it a true fantasy piece!

I saw a similar piece somewhere and decided to try this style as opposed to charcoal portraiture. Oils on canvas. A very different path to choose. But I'm loving it so far.

I painted this recently from a photo I took during a Friends Weekend several years ago. We stopped our bicycles on the bridge and snapped a few photos. The icy cold water was a brilliant blue from the mineral content. The Pine River flows into Vallecito Lake near Bayfield and Durango.
