Our meetups and classes are limited to a max of 12 people
I thought the actual class was very good. Regarding the arrangements, there was some confusion over the venue which left us running between the library on Headrow and the Leeds Library on Commercial Street. In the end we ended up doing the workshop in Starbucks. Despite this the facilitator was unfazed.

I painted this view of Leeds City Centre as I am interested in capturing the sunlight and shade in my Artwork. I like to paint scenes from everyday- the cars, the bus full of commuters, the woman chatting on her phone at lunchtime, the glint of the midday sun on the ground and in the trees. Capturing the city life

There is a lady I met at a knitting retreat going through a rough time, I follow her on instagram, so lifted a pic of her cat from there, she?s always leaving lovely comments about my drawings since I started in october, so thought i?d do this as a surprise. Then I realised I didn?t know if she still lived at the same address so had to contact her before I sent it to her to check her address, so I let her know what i?d done and was sending. She loved it and posted pics of the cat looking at the

Titled "Dreamcatcher," this piece marks the culmination of my themed series on dreams. It delves into the journey of pursuing our aspirations, navigating life's hurdles, and triumphing over adversity. Sized at 24x30 inches, it's a blend of mixed media techniques, acrylics, spray paint, gold accents, and acrylic inks.

Like many of us, I felt deep sadness at the terrible news of the demise of the beloved and iconic tree in Northumberland last year. I felt the need to replicate as best I could on canvas before the memory fades. I am a massive tree fan and a big Northumberland fan despite being from Yorkshire. I started painting a couple of years ago as a middle aged novice having had no training and not even art lessons at school. My paintings are predominantly landscape with trees or beaches, the last of whi

After taking up mandala painting in my late 60's during lockdown I decided to experiment using fabric scraps withing the design. This is the result of my first try. I am going to expand on this idea in the near future once I obtain more fabric scraps.

A friend asked me to create a painting for her to give to her sister as wedding gift. She sent me some some ideas of colour pallettes she liked and I used a photo I had taken of the landscape in Oxfordshire as inspiration. I painted the whole canvas bright pink first and let it dry and then painted on top.

I painted this as a memorial portrait for my friends, Delyn and Elizabeth Christian, originally from Columbus and now living in Tennessee. Delyn has been very active in the Columbus music scene for years and even wrote a song about Katy. The following is more info about Katy's life: Katy came to Fretnot Farm in Woodbury Tennessee in July 2012. She was six months old. Her mother was a companion dog to a Veteran who served in Iraq. Katy fit right in to the five acre farm and spent each day

This piece, along with a few others was created for use as "merch" to sell at music events. I'm also a singer songwriter so I'm always looking for ways to bring my art and music together. The original idea for this painting was completed on the computer but the idea of a big display banner popped into my mind and I decided to do a large canvas. The canvas is loose, about 36 x 42 inches. Acrylic on 12oz canvas and is currently hanging in my living room here in Gresham, Oregon USA. Thanks for your

For this little art piece, I used fabric ,plaster and glue. The beauty of is that I can change the look of the fabric ,the format, the color any time I want.I'm not respecting a norm,I just go with the flow of the art piece.
